Our guides help Texas business owners understand registered-agent appointments and locate the correct official filing information. We prioritize Texas SOS instructions, Comptroller guidance, FinCEN publications and Census data over competitors' summaries.
Each new guide includes its sources and a last-verified date. That date describes the source check for the stated facts, not a promise that the law will remain unchanged or that every circumstance is covered.
AI assistance and authorship
AI tools assist drafting, formatting and source comparison. These guides are attributed to the Texas State Registered Agent Editorial Team, not to a fictional lawyer or an individual who has not approved authorship. We do not claim an attorney or CPA has reviewed a guide unless that review is documented.
