Three expedited options

The SOS July 14, 2026 announcement says all business filing types are eligible for Texas Express expedited service. It lists same-day processing at $750 per document, next-day processing at $500, and standard expedited processing at $50. Each expedite charge is in addition to the applicable filing fee.

A $300 LLC formation with same-day processing therefore has $1,050 in base filing and expedite charges, before applicable payment or additional-document charges. It is not a $750 all-in formation.

Cutoffs and submission methods matter

The announcement says same-day and next-day filings received by noon are processed by the close of business the same day or next business day, respectively. Standard expedite is described as typically two to three business days.

It describes same-day and next-day submission through Texas Express email, in person or by courier, and standard expedite through mail, in person or courier. Check the current Texas Express page for accepted methods and current instructions; do not assume selecting an ordinary online filing automatically gives same-day service.

Review before paying

The SOS strongly encourages preclearance for same-day and next-day filings. A rush charge does not waive substantive requirements, replace registered-agent consent or guarantee that a defective filing will be accepted.

Confirm the form, legal names, signatures, office address and attachments. Allow for business days, cutoffs and state maintenance notices. If a transaction has an important legal effective date, involve the appropriate professional.

Estimate, then confirm with the state

Use our filing-fee calculator to compare the published base and expedite amounts. It is an estimate for one document, not a submission tool or a binding quote. Government charges are separate from the annual registered-agent plan.
